On the occasion of the Kornblumentag (Cornflower Day) and a fundraising event for the Winterhilfswerk organized by the VDA Youth, during which cornflowers were sold on the streets, a delegation of the VDA Youth and the HJ, led by the Reich Propaganda Leader of the VDA Erich Klinghammer, presented the Reich President with a bouquet of cornflowers and the Reich Chancellor with a swastika made of cornflowers.
