Auditorium during the Verpflichtung der Jugend (Commitment of the Youth) at the Deutsche Opernhaus in Berlin, where the Great Reich Celebration is taking place. Within a ceremony 14-year-old boys and girls of the Deutsches Jungvolk (German Youth) (DJ) and the Jungmaedelbund (Young Girl's League) (JM) are accepted in the Hitler Youth (HJ) and the League of German Girls (BDM). The picture shows a view from the auditorium on the theater stage during a speech of the Reich Youth Leader Artur Axmann. In the stage background under the Reich Eagle with swastika stands a marching band of the Deutsches Jungvolk with drums and fanfare banners of the DJ. Date created: 22.03.1942
