In the foreground is the Villa Rossler (with corner tower), behind it the churches and steeples of St. Andreas, the collegiate church (behind) and the Christuskirche (right, far back). Out of the morning mist, which lies over the river valley and the Konigssee, the alpine chain with its mountain peaks stands out (from left to right): Funtenseetauern, Schonfeldspitze, Watzmann, Grunstein (directly in front)
