View from the roof of the Passion Theatre in south direction to Oberammergau. The undated photo was taken by B. Johannes from Partenkirchen, probably around 1898. On the right in the background the villa Ammerschlossl, completed in 1899, is being built. Around this time, other holiday homes and noble villas were built on the outskirts of the village (right in the picture)
