Volkstrauertag in the Reichstag, 1931

The German War Graves Commission held a memorial service with laurel wreaths in the Reichstag in the presence of the President of the Reich and the Reich government. Here, the flag delegations of the Reichswehr and the corporations of the Berlin University and the Technical University. On the government benches, among others, from right to left: Reichs Chancellor Heinrich Bruening, Minister of the Interior Joseph Wirth (both Center Party) and Foreign Minister Julius Curtius (DVP)
