Wall newspaper in Italian Fascism, 1936
The wall newspaper Notizie da Roma was posted in all public buildings. It was published by the Partito Nazionale Fascista (Rome local group) and was intended by the regime as a propagandistic information service to summarize all the important news from the daily press. In this issue, published in early December, two portraits of Victor Emmanuel III, King of Italy, and Queen Elena (nee of Montenegro) are shown at the top left, above a letter from the Queen
