The Weissenhof Estate on the Killesberg in Stuttgart, show flats of the Neues Bauen ( International style) from the year 1927. 17 architects from Germany, Holland, Austria and Switzerland have created an exemplary residential program for the modern urbanite, under the artistic direction of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The 21 houses with 63 flats are not a naturally grown settlement, they were constructed in only 21 weeks for the Deutscher Werkbund exhibition of 1927 Die Wohnung (The Dwelling ). 01.01.1927-31.12.1927
