The Gaupropagandaleiter of Berlin, Werner Waechter (at the lectern), the Italian Ambassador Bernardo Attolico (center, behind the microphone) and the Italian General Giuseppe Renzetti (right beside) at an event with Italian farm workers in the Lichterfelde-Ost train station in Berlin. The workers who are hardly visible on this photo had been working in the agriculture in Brandenburg and now are on their way back to Italy. The propaganda photos should point out the alliance of the two countries therefore the workers were probably treated better than the so-called civilian workers from the occupied countries during the war
