Withdrawal of the German occupation from Tientsin (now Tianjin). The rolled-up flags of the 1st and 2nd East Asian Infantry Regiment are brought to the station. After the Boxer Rebellion, the occupying forces of the colonial troops had the task of protecting the embassies in Beijing and to secure the connection between the capital and the city of Tientsin on the coast near in a case of a possible flare up of the uprisings
