The witnesses of the Tscheka-trial waiting outside of the Reichtsgericht (Reich courthouse) in Leipzig. A group of german Communists had formed a Tscheka - an underground organisation to spread Communism in Germany and to overthrow the current system. Their members had planned several plots to kill politicians higher-ranked members of the military. In 1925, some of them were sentenced to death, but were exchanged for german students in 1926, who had been arrested in the Soviet Union. Date created: 01.01.1925-31.12.1925
