Women help in the war effort, 1942

Employees of the Scherl Publishing House in Berlin sewing for the armed forces. In the winter of 1941/42 the Nazi party called for volunteer sewing workshops, in which employed women and girls would sew snow camouflage after work for the soldiers in Russia, because they were lacking in the necessary winter equipment
