Women from Istanbul celebrate the introduction of women's
On a public square in the middle of Istanbul women gathered to take part in a solemn procession through the city to celebrate the introduction of women's suffrage in the local elections. They carry a large wreath in the shape of a crescent moon and Turkish national flags with, beside them policemen are walking. In the background you can see the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque)
