The photograph shows the Victory Avenue in the Tiergarten in Berlin-Mitte in 1885. In the foreground is the Wrangel Fountain, which was later replaced by the Roland Fountain. In the background you can see the Victory Column on Konigsplatz (today: Platz der Republik)
