Zeppelin airship LZ 3 flying above Munich, 1909

Some Munich citizens watch from the roofs of their houses the flight of the Zeppelin airship LZ 3 above their city. After the LZ 3 was partially destroyed on 14.12.1907 at the downfall of the Reichsschwimmhalle, ran around 4400 km till its transfer to the Army. As a section was extended it was transferred to Metz as the military airship Z I on 29/06/1909 and stationed there
