Zeppelin airship LZ 3'above the Cologne Cathedral, 1909

The citizens of Cologne watch from the roofs of their homes the cruise of the German Zeppelin airship LZ 3'above their city. After the LZ 3 was partially destroyed on 14.12.1907 at the downfall of the Reichsschwimmhalle, ran around 4400 km till its transfer to the Army. As a section was extended it was transferred to Metz as the military airship Z I on 29/06/1909 and stationed there
