19th century American Fire Department vintage print published by Currier and Ives in 1877 of a certificate in the center mentioning the name of the fireman, name of his company and number assigned by the Fire Department. Flanking the text on top is an image of a fireman rescuing a child and handing over to the mother, at the bottom an entire fire-fighting crew is depicted in action, while the sides feature firemen engaged in various drills
