In the foreground lies the gas giant Carter, orbited by it's two small moons Banth and Sorak. Many light years away in the distance, an ancient supernova remnant is exhausting its energy. In turn it has collapsed nearby clouds of gas and dust, causing a new crop of stars to burst to life, their fusion lighting up the dead carcass of their progenitor
