The Niagara Falls suspension bridge
The Niagara Falls suspension bridge, which was built in 1855 and happened to be the first of its kind in the world. At 2.5 miles downstream of Niagara Falls, it spanned 825 feet wherein it acted as the point of connection between Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York, until 1897 when it was closed
