MAGADAN REGION, RUSSIA. Ruins of the so-called BUR, tough regime barrack in Butugychag (GULAG) - Soviet era prison camp in the Kolyma region, northeastern Russia. Ventilation system in the building was arranged to make the air temperature practically equal to that outside.
