Rostov-on-Don, Russia. People rally near the Governor Office demanding immediate compensation for damages of the 22, 000 Rostov liquidators of various accidents including the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The term liquidator most often applies to the Soviet civil and military personnel called upon to eliminate consequences of the Chernobyl disaster and participate in rescue operations.
