A panoramic view of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Unit 4 known for the nuclear disaster on April 26, 1986 which resulted in massive radioactive contamination of significant areas in Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and other neigbouring European countries. It claimed hundreds of thousands of lives due to the liquidators radioactive exposure during the rescue operation and civilians radiation sickness in contaminated areas.
