Ferapontov Monastery in Vologda region, 1992
Vologda region, Russia. A view of the Ferapontov Monastery metochion. The monastery was founded in 1398 near Kirillov city and in 1502-1503 decorated with frescoes by the famous Russian icon painter Dionisius and his two sons, who expressed the ideas of world harmony, perfection of the soul and mercy in their creations.
