Francois Mitterrand's meeting with astronauts
PARIS, FRANCE. September 29, 1982. President Francois Mitterrand and Prime Minister P. Mauroy met the participants of the joint Soviet-French space flight of Soviet cosmonaut Vladimir Dzhanibekov, A. Ivanchenkov, the first French astronaut L. Chretien, as well as the back-up crew of L. Kizim, V. Solovyov, P. Beaudry at the Elysee Palace. The meeting was attended by the head of the Soviet cosmonaut delegation, pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR A. Eliseev, Chairman of the Intercosmos Council, academic V.
