Gomel Region, Belarus. Hot radioactive particles found in human lungs at the Belarusian Institute of Radiology. In 1992, the Institute finished examining the residents of 24 local towns and exclusion zone territories with more than 15 Ci of contamination, without finding similar particles in their lungs.
