Moscow, Soviet Union. The crown, the sceptre, and the Chain of the Order of St Andrew used in coronation ceremonies of Russian monarchs belong now to the Diamond Fund of the Soviet Union's Gokhran. Gokhran stands for the State Valuables Depository, a state institution under the Soviet Union's Ministry of Finance responcible for storage, purchase and use of precious metals and gems.
