Irkutsk Region, USSR. A view of the Kropotkin settlement founded as a base settlement for Baikal-Amur Mainline workers and management of the future plant. Baikal-Amur Mainline workers laid a road to the Sukhoy Log, gold deposit in Bodaybinsky Region. Komsomol volunteers from all over the USSR took an active part in construction of precious metals mining technologies development shop and a motor-way, connecting the Taksimo railway station and the gold deposit's area.
