Moscow, Russia. President Boris Yeltsin gives documents concerning the 1983 Korean Air Line Flight 007 disaster to Igor Golembiovsky (R-L front), Editor-in-Chief of the Izvestia daily newspaper. The Boeing 747 airliner bound from New York to Seoul was shot down by Soviet Su-15 interceptor on September 1, 1983 over the Sakhalin Island after accidentally straying from its course into the Soviet Union's air space, all 269 people aboard killed.
