Moscow region. USSR. September 1959. Soviet space dog Zhuchka has a walk in the garden of the Institute of Biomedical Problems, where she is trained for her space mission. In the 1950s, Soviet scientists used animals for sub-orbital and orbital space flights to assess the possibility of future manned space missions. The exact day of shooting is unknown.
