Russian film director Pavel Chukhray (L), actress Yekaterina Rednikova (R) as Katya and actor Mikhail Filipchuk (C) as 6-year old Sanya on location for The Thief film at the Mosfilm studio. Pavel Chukhray attempted to reconstruct the atmosphere of the post-World War II Soviet Union to show how ambiguous and hard was the childhood of the ones who rule the present Russia.
