Lockheed EP-3E Aries II 156511 - PR-32
United States Navy - EP-3E Aries II 156511 / PR-32 (MSN 285A_5505), an Electronic Intelligence gathering (ELINT) platform used to gather naval orientated intelligence This aircraft collided with PLA Shenyang F-8-II ser no 81192 on 1 April 2001 and made emergency landing at Lingshui Air Base, Hainan Island, China. The F-8-II crashed, killing the pilot. 24 crewmembers held until released on 11 April. 156511 was returned inside an An-124 in August 2001 and rebuilt by Lockheed Martin, using parts of NP-3D 150525 and the wings of P-3B 153453. First flight after rebuild 15 November 2002
