Cartoon, A Shower of Blacks -- Haverley's Minstrels and Callender's Minstrels will shortly appear at a couple of the London theatres (American paper). The title is a pun on the blacked-up faces of the minstrels and the Victorian word for particles of soot flying in the air. In the foreground are George Washington Moore (1820-1909) and Frederick Burgess who founded the Moore and Burgess Minstrels in 1871. They are not very pleased to see that rival entertainers are advertising their show
