Convoy survivors rescued after battle with U-boats in Atlantic, February 1943, WW2 - three British seamen are rescued from a raft by a US Navy patrol boat after 83 days adrift. Two others had died on the raft and were buried at sea. The three men had survived on fish, birds and rainwater, and their loss of weight is evident
