Princess Victoria, Crown Princess of Prussia
Princess Victoria (Vicky) of Great Britain (1840 - 1901), eldest child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, later Crown Princess of Prussia and then Empress of Germany. Pictured wearing a medieval style coronet and with ermine trim to her bodice and sleeves. It is difficult to tell from the image whether she is in fancy dress, or wearing some kind of ceremonial outfit. Picture taken shortly before or after her marriage in January 1858
