The Wedding Morning
The Wedding Morning painted by John Henry Frederick Bacon (1866-1913) showing a bride preparing for her wedding while female relatives and friends gather around to help. The picture was originally exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1892 but was bought by Lord Leverhulme who used it for a Sunlight Soap advertisement. This picture shows boxes of Sunlight soap replacing the original clock on the mantlepiece and a cup and saucer on the table
