Inscription Rock, New Mexico
The inscription on a rock at El Morro reads: (translation): On the 25th of the month of June in the year of 1709 passed by here on the way to Zuni, Ramon Garcia Jurado'. The image is a Zuni Indian symbol. In 1728 he became mayor of the Keres District near Santa Fe
