Checking blue woollen threads
A factory worker checks a machine rolling dark blue yarn onto circular spools, after the wool has been industrially spun at Patons and Baldwins factory in Darlington. At the far right side of the picture you can see a change in the thread colour to a pretty shocking pink! Patons and Baldwins was a leading British manufacturer of knitting yarn.
