Shaping metal with a steam hammer
Two metalworkers use a clamp and chain to hold a large piece of metal in place while it is shaped by a pneumatic steam hammer. Possibly the early stage in the construction of a railway rail - as the initial large iron bar is stretched and shaped. Photograph by Heinz Zinram
