Coronation of King George VI. Viscount and Viscountess Arbuthnott and the Earl and Countess of Yarborough waiting for their car to arrive at the ceremony. A torrential downpour afterwards meant that a large proportion of the 7500 guests at Westminster Abbey were left stranded waiting for cars up to five hours after the event had finished.
