Fashions in Paris- Clockwise from top left: Stunning coat and matching gaiters by Lanvin in tomato-red window-pane checked wool ratteen (by Garique). The coat is slightly shaped at the front and has two slits at the back reaching to the waist. Worn with a tomato-red fireman's hat in felt. Jean-Louis Scherrer's sophistication in sportswear- beige window-pane checked wool ratteen (by Garique). Straight cut and belted on hips with diagonal buttoning to waist. Two of Jean Marie Armand's dress and coat ensembles in pure wool jacquard (by Nattier). Garbardine dresses with high square collar and long sleeves, worn under sleeveless hooded coats. Models also wear "Bobby" felt helmets. And, Castillo's high-waisted coat in turquoise wool broadcloth (by Garique), double-breasted and high fastened by four tabbed buttons with slit pockets concealed in the seams. Worn with matching hat.
