A controversial statue sculpted by Countess Feodora Gleichen, daughter of Prince and Princess Victor of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (and distantly related to King George V), showing the woman of 1914 naked but for a vanity bag she carries. The Countess studied at the Slade School of Art and University College, London under Professor Legros. She exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy from 1893.
