Front cover of The Bystander featuring an illustration of a flirtatious looking flapper girl, enjoying a drink and a cigarette, but, apparently, very little food. Bevan Petman was known for the 'Petman Girls' during the 1920s, a series of coquettish flappers that evoke the period perfectly.
