The home of the Illustrated Weeklies - a night view of Inveresk House in the Strand on the corner of Aldwych and facing towards Wellington Street, London. Inveresk House, formerly known as Borthwick House when it held the offices of the Morning Post, became, in 1928, the headquarters of Britain's chief illustrated papers known as the Great Eight, consisting of the Illustrated London News, the Graphic, the Sphere, the Sketch, the Bystander, the Tatler, Eve, and the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News. The names of the magazines are lit up down the side of the building.
