Description | A Visit to the Alpini |
Details |
A lone Italian Alpini soldier, staked out on the top of a precarious mountain is so isolated, nobody has managed to get to him to tell him the war is over. Charles Dana Gibson considered this Bairnsfather's greatest cartoon.
