Abolition of Slavery, 1833. Here is a lady as black as can be! She was lately a slave, now she's perfectly free! A black woman in colourful clothes, including a crinoline 'cage', with the Lord Chancellor of the House of Lords reading the Abolition of Slavery Bill in the top left.
