Description | Advert for British Industrial Plastic Limited 1942 |
Details |
'Idea to be lifted'. . . The sewing machine hasn't been built yet, but it will be built by some enterprising manufacturer. 80% of it will be made from plastics for the body, the gear wheels, the base and the cover. It will wear as long, it will be just as efficient as any we have known but, it will be silent, better to look at, light to carry, and it will be made in a range of colours.
