'That plastc age'. In clubs, and places where they chat, you hear bandied about such phrases as 'The plastc age', implying almost that steel, stone, bricks and mortar are fast becoming museum pieces in an all - plastic world. Of course plastics will replace older materials for some jobs - but not all by a long chalk.
