A selection of Victorian boots, real whale skin for shooting, lady's field boot made from tan or blacking calf, button or lace, smart toe brogues. An interesting advert for Victorian branding for cycling shoes, this was solely by the 'London Shoe Company' under the directions of George Lacy Hillier an English racing cyclist, and an excellent all-around athlete. Barring a stamp on the sole of the shoe with the words 'The Lacy Hillier Shoe'.
