'Oxo in the trenches'. Hot Oxo is an inestimable boon to the fighting forces at this time of year. Oxo takes up little space, is easily carried, and can be converted quickly into a hot nourshing drink. During the First World War soldiers where given Oxo cubes in their ration kits.
