Details |
If we lost the First World War: Maybe Londons famous buildings and monuments that we know of today would be completely different, German style with the Kaiser and eagles appearing on many of them. Examples are: Tower Bridge called 'Tower Pridge' with beer steins as the tower and bottles as the bascules. Big Ben, Westminster Clock Tower called 'Pig Ben', Vestminster Clock Tower rebuilt in Teutonic taste, superseded on the cuckoo principle, with the towers as barrels of beers, clock face with a Moustache and sausages and beer steins around it. The nude Achilles as dominant feature of the Wellington Monument in Hyde Park Corner replaced with Kaiser Wilhelm German emperor. Eros statue in Piccadilly Circus renamed 'Vengeance' in Bigadilly Zergue.
