Details

A temple standing amidst surrounding ruins: The little Nepalese village of Bagmati, also called Bungamati, (of 310 houses; all destroyed), where 123 were killed and 99 injured out of about 2000. Though the temple survived the 1934 earthquake, it collapsed in 2015 when another earthquake struck the area.
